I'm bored, so that means I should open blogger to gripe about being bored while waiting forever for an appointment. The hurry up so you can wait many hours just for a very short appointment concept is pretty irritating. Gotta hurry, gotta get there early... gotta get there now. Horray you got there on time. You got there early so they wouldn't skip over you for being two seconds late. Now what? Now you get to sit in a small, cramped, awkward room for an unkown amount of time until someone decides it's time to go back (which just happened) so you can get a false sense of "almost!" And then end up waiting around even longer. And then there are those irritating tvs that a lot of places are getting that evidently have no volume setting and just show a repeating circle of commercials. Decided to sit outside rather than deal with a likely migraine. And now to wait some more...
You pretty much have to clear your entire day if you have the displeasure of living somewhere where you expect to be waiting for a quick doctor appointment for two to four hours...
I don't understand how that is acceptable. But it is. And if you have something else on your calendar that you were careful enough to schedule many hours later... that may not even matter. If the waiting time happens to extend into already laid plans, you get the option of missing it/showing up late or walking out of your appointment. If you decide to just walk out, even after many hours of waiting, they'll charge you a load of fees -_-
Again... I don't understand how this is acceptable.
I guess I'm done now.
